Tommy’s Honour Official Trailer 2017

In every generation, a torch passes from father to son. And that timeless dynamic is the beating heart of Tommy’s Honour – an intimate, powerfully moving tale of the real-life founders of the modern game of golf.

“Tommy’s Honour, a golf movie chronicling the story of Old Tom Morris and Young Tom Morris, the father-son duo who were pioneers of professional golf in Scotland in the late 1800s. Old Tom won the British Open four times (the last at 46, and he’s still the tournament’s oldest winner) and Young Tom matched him with four of his own (the first of which came at 17, making him the tournament’s youngest winner) before dying at age 24.” Golf Week

Ahead of the forthcoming X Games in Munich, a selection of the world’s foremost action sports stars took time out to play an exclusive golf event ‘King of Greens’.

The likes of Ronnie Renner, PK Hunder and Cedric Dumont swapped their usual gear for golf clubs and joined pros such as Matteo Manessero to try their hand on the greens and fairways of the Golfclub Gut Thailing in Munich.

It was Belgian BASE jumper Dumont that came away with the honours in the end, ahead of snowboarder Konstantin Schad in second place, with freeskier Tobias Tritscher in third.

Dumont pledged to be back in 2014 to defend his title in the second edition of King of Greens.”
